Save East Kessler.com was formed to address an issue that has arisen over the future of architecture, design, and
most important the people who choose to live here in the near and distant future. The varied street design, eclectic
architecture and people of all backgrounds have come together here because of the open arms of the people who were here before
us and city regulations that permitted progressive thought on home design in our neighborhood.
Our mission is simple. We want to do nothing. Yes, there is room in our community for a do nothing
organization. We live under many rules that sometimes seem complicated, maybe overwhelming but those rules we know as
our zoning ordinance have brought us all together. In order to continue to thrive we believe that those rules
should not be changed. Any new regulation that prevents our neighbors and future neighbors from expressing themselves
freely in their design and size of their homes and enjoyment of their property will simply be counter to the East Kessler
spirit that has brought us all to this wonderful neighborhood.
Save East Kessle.com is a unique organization of many neighbors here that believe that we should get out of the way of
creative people who choose to live here rather than tell them how to construct their special place here in the neighborhood.
The old saying lead, follow or get out of the way is a good one...it's time to get out of the way.
